EPIC - EUROPEAN
PHOTONICS INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM

Dr. Amudhavel Jayavel, Senior Researcher of CIPHR group at the University of Tartu attended the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) conference organized on 29th & 30th March 2023 in FINLAND. EPIC is a world-leading industry association that promotes the sustainable development of organizations working in the field of photonics in Europe. Over 800 companies attended the conference, and it provided a great platform for networking, learning, and sharing ideas. |

EPIC maintains a strong network and catalyzes and facilitates
technological and commercial advancement in the photonics industry. During the
conference, we were able to attend presentations by various industry experts
and learn about their companies and their perspectives on entrepreneurship,
investment, exit strategy, globalization, supply chain, public support, and
Europe. There were also updates from the EPIC Board of Directors, marketing and
technology teams, and discussions on strategy.

ERA CIPHR Research group (CPCI - Center of Photonics and Computational
Imaging at the University of Tartu, Estonia) has been granted full membership
in EPIC – European Photonics Industry Consortium.
